 A lot of - Much - Many

  • We use a lot of  with plural countable nouns (e.g. cars, books, apples...) and uncountable nouns (e.g. milk, sugar, chocolate...) in positive statements.

She's got a lot of books.

There is a lot of milk in the fridge.

  •  We normally use much with uncountable nouns in questions and negations.(мы обычно употребляем much с неисчисляемыми существительными в вопросительных и отрицательных предложениях)
How much cheese have you got?

There isn't much soup in the bowl.

  • We normally use many with plural countable nouns in questions and negations.

Are there many pupies in the box
