Lesson3. Subject Personal Pronauns.

We can use subject personal pronauns before a verb instead of the noun or the name of a person. (Мы  употребляем личные местоимения перед глаголом вместо существительного или имени  человека)

They are:

Singular ( ед.число)                       Plural (мн.число)

I                                          we

you                                      you

he, she, it                              they

man - he

boy - he

We use he for a man or a boy. We use she for a women or a girl. (  he - мужчины и мальчики; she - женщины или девочки)

    

a girl - she

a womam - she

 We use it for a thing or an animal when we do not know its sex. When we talk about our pets or animals whose sex we know we can use she or he. (it - вещи или животные в единственном числе)

a dog (a pet)  - she

a tiger - it

              a car - it

 

 

  In the plural we use they for people, animals, plants and things. ( they - люди, животные, растения, вещи во множественном числе)
